In wrapping up, Season 3 did have more for Clark and Lana fans than it initially appears. She was seen in the cemetery with Clark and sometime later, she gave him words of encouragement and reassurance when he began to doubt his decision to leave Smallville. Despite the impediments however, their bond strengthens as the episodes progress, sweeping aside all the barriers at least temporarily. Then she apologizes but tells him she’s not going to wait for him. From the end of Hidden onward, he goes back on the promise he made to her during Season 4.

Although he technically was right that Jasana wasn’t a good thing, he continued to press and protect Lana to the point of smothering her concerning her relations with Lionel and Genieve Teague not to mention trying to buy her attention at every turn. Lana also developed a reputation for being a sweet young woman – pleasant, caring, honest, extremely passionate, fiercely loyal, and with a great sense of justice. This was especially true toward the end of the season. (Descent/Sleeper/Apocalypse) As in previous seasons, other characters’ agendas interfered with the romance here. She appears along with his parents, who are not dead, and have visited their son in the big city. There have been numerous comments about the beauty of her eyes, they seemed to draw all the men in. Therefore, Clark is weakened when he gets close to her.

They shout out their frustrations (Hothead). Season 6, what Clark and Lana learn and their personal growth drove this season’s development. The scene at the end with her arranging the flowers showed more of her making herself at home around the farm.

Oliver convinces her to return to Smallville so that she can attend Chloe's wedding. Her journey took her to Edge City, where she found Carter Bowfry, a former military teacher, whom she knew could teach her the specialized skills that she needed. He begged her to stay. (Commencement) The Countess Isobel returned after a 400 year revenge plotting hiatus, possessing Lana to get the stones and giving Clark fits on three occasions. This was the final step Lana took to finally actualize her destiny. (Blue-Persona) Bizarro, as noted earlier, tried to take Lana for himself. Despite this, Lana developed a reputation for being a sweet girl – pleasant, caring, as well as eager to help others. Skilled hand-to-hand combatant, High Pain Tolorance He wanted to be on same page as her. She also frames Lex for her murder, to punish him for his betrayal.
