Whoa! Crucifixes in the corn field?

Typically that's my sweet spot with scary movies, the slow build during the first half and then as it builds up and the ghosts start making more regular appearances, the thrills start to wear off. Also I was disappointed by the "snuff" films in this one, they were more silly then disturbing, guess they felt they should try and up the gore and violence as opposed to something truly unsettling.
