This is a tribute issue to Anne Sexton’s Transformations and will be published in 2021, the 50th anniversary year. Our editorial staff is small and entirely volunteer-based. Faerie Magazine is a quarterly Maryland-based print magazine celebrating enchantment and real-world fairy tales. The editors invite submissions of poems, stories, and essays with a fairy-tale feel – mainstream to experimental, genre to literary, realist to fabulist. The journal seeks to expand the conversation about fairy tales among practitioners, scholars, and general readers. Fairy Tale Review is a well-respected annual literary journal that has been going since 2005.
